& Heading South Now

The Final Trip

....the Tully river - wow what a day we had here. As you may or may not have guessed, the Tully hosted white water rafting for us. This was truly an incredible and exhilarating experience.

From the Tully we continued south to Airlie Beach. Here we took a 2 day/2 night cruise of the Whit Sunday Islands aboard "Ron of the Argyle", a turn of the century Scottish luxury yacht. Again, a truly wonderful adventure with glorious weather to boot.

Dingo was our next stop, where we spent a night on one of the largest cattle properties in Queeensland (50,000 acres). Continuing the trend of visiting places that happen to be some 'capital' of Australia, we visited Rockhampton, the "beef capital of Australia". We also stayed a night in Bagara, outside of Bundaberg. Bundaberg is well known as the "sugar cane capital of Queensland". This would be our final stop before reaching the metropolis of Brisbane.
